Built for Australian workshops

The right wheel nut torque, without relying on memory.

TorqSpec brings wheel nut torque figures, fitment details and their sources together in one place. It grew out of the everyday need to check a vehicle before the wheels go back on, whether you're working through a busy workshop or looking after your own car.

A number is only as reliable as its source.

Two torque specs can look identical and have very different evidence behind them. Our confidence scores reflect the source of a figure and the independent sources that support it, not a guaranteed probability of accuracy.

Manufacturer engineering data sits at 100%, with workshop manuals at 95% or 97.5% when corroborated. Professional guides and community reports have their own tiers; provisional figures are clearly flagged while they await stronger evidence. Check the source and any notes alongside the number, especially if the wheels or fasteners have changed.

How we score our data

Every precaution has been taken to ensure OE torque specifications are accurately presented. However, neither TorqSpec nor its contributors can be held liable for any cost or damage arising from errors. Torque settings shown are for OE (factory) wheel fitments โ€” for aftermarket wheels, consult the wheel manufacturer. Always use a calibrated torque wrench.
